The founder's path didn't begin in coffee—it began in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a reconnaissance Marine where precision, discipline, and attention to detail weren't preferences… they were requirements. That mindset never left.

After military service, he transitioned into a career as an estate and tax planning attorney in California, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on how to protect, structure, and preserve wealth. Different battlefield—same principles: clarity, preparation, and execution without compromise.

Somewhere along the way, coffee became more than a habit.

Time spent living on the Big Island of Hawaii introduced him to Kona coffee at the source—where quality isn't marketed, it's earned. That experience reshaped his understanding of what coffee should be: clean, intentional, and consistent. Not overhyped. Not cut with fillers. Just done properly.
